A number of people in this congregation have hoped for a second worship service opportunity. Over the last four years, we've experimented with worship in Fellowship Hall during the summers, and here in the sanctuary during Lent and Advent. We've even tried worshiping in Springwood Park, followed by an all-church picnic.

Thanks to the encouragement of Pastor David and the Visioning Task Force, which began their work over a year ago, our Worship Elders are about to launch that second service. It's called "Early in the Morning" and it begins Sunday 6 June at 8 AM.

In October we will be meeting in Fellowship Hall at the church. The Elders have authorized Communion by Intinction every week. Add some Praise choruses, hot coffee and donut holes, and you have an idea of what this service will be like.

We hope you'll come see what Early in the Morning is all about, and we hope you'll bring your family and friends. We think it's a way to broaden our appeal to the community without taking away anything from anyone who already worships here.

Early in the Morning is an exciting opportunity for our church, and a real change of pace. So come early, bring a seat cushion, and expect a rousing, active, eye-opening outdoor worship service.
